Cat Service Frequently asked questions.

What is Dallas Dog and Cat grooming? I thought this was Urban Aristocats?

It is Urban Aristocats so you have no need to worry. We simply chose to use a single website domain to represent both our cat and dog services. The individual website domains for each company will redirect you here.

Where are your prices?

We do not list prices becasue the price can vary by many factors such as breed, type and condition of coat and size/weight. We will be able to give you a more accurate estimate once we have a chance to evaluate your pet.

Do you accept walk-ins?

We do not. We strive to ensure every appointment is specific to the pet. This means we set aside specific time for your pet to ensure we deliver high quality services as efficiently as possible.

Does my cat need to be in a carrier?

Yes. Your pet must be secured in a carrier that is specific for, secure, large enough and safe for your cat. Leads or other types of harness or restraint is not acceptable and we will not be able to accept your cat. You should place the cat in the carrier before transporting it to the appointment and avoid letting the cat wander in your vehicle. This reduces the stress on your pet and is safer for them.

Does my cat need vaccinations?

All cats must be current on rabies. Additionally for boarding your cat must also have a current FVRCP(Feline Distemper) vaccination. We will ask for you to provide proof of current vaccinations before performing any services. This is for the protection of your pet and others in the facility

Can I drop off early or pick up late?

We ask you drop off no more than 15 minutes before your appointment and pick them up within 1 hours of being notified the service is complete. This helps limit the number of cats we have in the facility at any given time and helps alleviate stress.

Can I wait for or stay with my cat?

You may think that you being present will help alleviate stress to your cat or change its behavior when in fact it can be just the opposite. When you are present you can distract the cat making it harder to perform the services and in turn it takes longer. Rest assured we are trained to handle your cat and do so with the care we would our own.

We ask you do not wait for your pet during their appointment. Most appointments take several hours to complete.
