Cats Don’t Groom Themselves.
Cats lick themselves to remove fleas, parasites, loose fur, some dirt, and to cool off. It does not however fully clean their coats and they are still susceptible to matting which can threaten your cat’s health. Grooming your cat regularly along with maintaining their coat between visits means less matting, hairballs and shedding. This in turn keeps their coat healthy and beautiful while cutting down on the mess in the house and believe it or not, can help with allergies associated with cats.
